Movt 1

Opening fanfare very effective - full of vim and vigour. C What a fine toned band - just a hint of untunefulness at the last fff chord.

Movt 2

Soulful cornet tone and the dynamics are scrupulously observed, delicate percussion. D a splendid cresc. Nice BBb entry before E. Euph run to F a bit scratchy.

Movt 3

Dynamics, percussion gives real impetus to the sonorous brass. I like the drive behind this performance. H there is a tiny discrepancy between the tuning of the solo cornet and euph. M fine balance. Intonation of the last 5 bars was not your best ending, but overall the performance showed great talent and musicianship. I am sorry about the slight tuning (and intonation) problems.
