The Mount Charles Band Presents Their Brand New CD "Memories"

'Memories' is the latest recording from the Mount Charles Band. Released just in time for there upcoming National Finals appearance at the Royal Albert Hall, it features a mixture of the most frequently requested tracks from concerts over the past few years and some of the bands favourite pieces to play. As well as a live recording of 'Rienzi' from the Area Contest 2005, It includes 'Brilliante' played by the bands late principal euphonium player, popular bandsman and virtuoso performer Shaun Thomas.

The Mount Charles Youth Band Presents Their Latest CD - "Inspirational Showcase"

'Inspirational Showcase' features three of the bands soloists, Glen Philp, Jodie Davies and Gavin Pedlar.

As well as pieces like Lord of the Dance, David of the White Rock and Ave Verum it includes the full Showcase of Bolero, The Muppet Show Theme, The Waltonian, Vitae Lux and Kongelela, compered by Bianca Davies.

It also features the first (Jubilee Overture) and tenth (Scenes Du Lac) winning performances from the 10 consecutive wins (Now 11) at the SWBBA Torquay Contest.
