Kelly - 2nd Trombone

Laura joined the band in 2006 on second trombone.
She has been playing the trombone for 10 years but
originally started on cornet in 1996. She has played
with various types of bands over the years including
jazz, blues, big band and orchestras. Her brass band
past experience includes St Austell Band, St Pinnock
Band, Lanner Band and Bodmin Band.
Outside of music, Laura loves to read, cook and
spend time with her friends and family. She also
plays with an 8 piece soul and funk band called The
Harry Peanut Show ( www.harrypeanutshow.co.uk).

Joe Whitehead - Bass Trombone |

Joe started playing when he was 10 years old, and
predominately played at the Bodmin Community School Jazz
Orchestra, where he played tenor and bass trombone. He
started his Brass Band days at St Breward in 2008, and was
part of the band when they won the National 4th section
Championships. Joe is a keen sportsman too, representing
Cornwall at Athletics and Rugby, the latter which he still
does. He joined Mount Charles in October 2010, and made his
contesting debut at Yeovil in February 2011. |
