Started playing because: Banding is in my family, My Dad played and conducted. My uncle plays, teaches and conducts.
Why Mount Charles: My Dad was playing for them at the time and they had a good reputation for promoting youth players

Favourite Music: Oceans
Favourite Venue: Royal Albert Hall
Best Banding Memory: Winning Prestatyn Contest in 1999
Funniest thing you overheard a band member say: Someone thought the Therish Magpie was the Twelve-inch Magpie
Hobbies: Running
Pets: Cat called Tinkerbell and a dog called Lulu
Favourite alcoholic drink: Red wine - Shiraz
Can no longer drink: Green Chartreuse
Toilet paper hangs: Over
Dumbest injury: Fell over in a toilet when drunk and hit my head on the urinal

First Band: Launceton Town
Started playing because: My sister started playing the cornet and I liked the uniform! I started on the trombone, played euphonium, baritone and cornet before settling on tenor horn
Why Mount Charles: I often helped out Mount Charles and became a member when I moved to St Austell

Favourite Music: Golden Lady

Best Banding Memory: First sold out proms concert at the Minack

Hobbies: Walking Cornwall's coast path
Pets: Two cocker spaniels; Farley (12 years) and Biscoff (10 months)

Can no longer drink: Drambuie after getting VERY ill on a band job as a 14 year old

Dumbest injury: Falling whilst hoovering. Ripped all the muscles and ligaments in my ankle
